Web design and database programming

Web design - The creation process

The process of creating a website consists of seven stages, represented in the figure below. Click on the boxes for details of each phase.

Study the needs

A personal meeting with the customer allows us to learn more about their needs, wishes and hopes for your web project. It not only listen to their ideas and proposals, but focused on their needs and how best to manage them. Above all, we know deep in their business and the real possibilities of transferring to the network.

The client receives from us a stream of ideas on the best performance of the project, both from a technical point of view of content or presentation.

Functional and graphical Proposals

Based on information in the reunion of study requirements, we present the client at least 3 proposals graphic and functional studies 2.

Both the proposals as graphic diagrams complete functional studies are what might be the project site once developed and are ready to be discussed and reworked according to the tastes of the client, always have our support and advice.

Both types of proposals is entirely dependent on the information gathered in meetings with the client, so OKA never presents a graphical development and functional for a project without first having spoken personally with the client.

These proposals are accompanied by a detailed report of costs and timescale for completion. After the draft, both the costs and time remain unchanged, even if new features or modify the initial structure.

Code Development

Once a graphical development and a functional layout, designers and programmers OKA begin to translate that live in a development scheme.

Using the best available technologies, but always with an obsession: the optimization and security. Will therefore be assured that your site meets the highest standards of speed, stability and security with minimal cost.

In addition to technical expertise, the key ingredient of our developments is the imagination. In a world like the Internet in which almost everything is invented by the imagination is always our best ally. So never say that he intends to do what is impossible, just get it, how is our thing.

The encoding process is not never lasts more than 5 weeks.

Navigability and Load Testing

Once we have the beta code is put on the servers and open the site in test phase.

During the test phase only the client and OKA technicians can access the actual pages of the site, the rest of the public will see a home or a small site that will allow them to register to receive information on the definitive opening of the site.

During this phase, the client verifies that the site meets their expectations and requests as appropriate changes. There are also testing techniques OKA.

OKA performed two types of models on the site, evidence of seaworthiness and load tests.

Evidence of seaworthiness

We ask three kinds of people who browse the site and do what they would do a real customer. These three types are: people with no knowledge of internet, people with a typical usage of the network (but not experts) and target customers of the real site. Of them got in each case the ideas, views, complaints and compliments to help us change the site to make it perfect.

Load testing

Our technicians undergo torture at the site much higher than ever seen before in the real environment. They include the simultaneous entry of 1,000 people on the site (1,000 users in a second) for 48 hours and numerous attempts to violate security.

Launch

There comes a time when the long-awaited opening of the final site.

Before opening his final instruct customer on standards of treatment to the client on the Internet, the effective use of email, how to respond appropriately to requests for information, the best advertising you can do on your pages, etc..

Of course, we carry out the registration of the new site and select the appropriate search words and concepts that will define your registration.

This register in search engines will be updated periodically as part of the website maintenance.

Monitoring and Updating

Once launched the site our work is far from complete.

As a standard part of contracts for web development, we include a free update and revision of the site and its contents during the first 30 days after its launch.

During that period we receive more information from the company states that have not participated in meetings with OKA, new kinds of clients accessing the web but do not visit the physical version of your company, etc.

This new information allows us to polish the perfect place to do so definitively.
